Introductory Session (offered only to new clients for the first appointment)
For general treatment: 60 minutes for $55
General treatment is a good way for new clients to experience a practitioner's touch, and decide if it is right for their body before addressing more specific needs.
For specific treatment: 90 minutes for $75
For clients with specific needs, it is important to discuss health history, goals for massage, and treatment options; and a longer session allows more time for intake and assessment during your first visit.

For treating injuries or chronic pain, sessions should ideally be scheduled at least once per week for 4-6 weeks. Frequency is important for faster healing, and to help prevent the body from lapsing into painful habits between sessions. Regular sessions are also valuable for tracking improvement in the client's condition.
Student and Military Discount (with valid ID)
90 minutes for $75
60 minutes for $50
30 minutes for $25
Appointment times generally include all of the following, to varying extent:
Intake - discussion of health history, current symptoms, and your goals for massage
Assessment - palpation, visual observation, and/or testing range of motion to determine a plan for treatment
Hands-on - application of massage and bodywork techniques
Follow-up - recording changes, suggestions for self-care at home, and recommendation for future sessions
Plus, time for the client to undress & dress, as needed. It may be appropriate for some clients to remain clothed, or to work undraped in undergarments. Clients will never be made to exceed their personal comfort level to undress, or have sensitive body parts (genitals, female breasts) exposed.
Reservation and Cancellation policies
Appointments are reserved first-come, first-served. Clients are responsible for the time they reserve, whether for themselves or a third party. A credit card is requested to make a reservation. Cards will NOT be charged, except under the following circumstances:
1) The client authorizes the card for payment at the time of service
2) The client does not appear for the appointment, or cancels within 24 hours of the appointment time
A minimum of 24 hours notice is requested if clients need to cancel an appointment, to allow sufficient time for booking another client. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, or the client does not appear for the appointment, a late cancellation fee of $20/hour will be charged. To avoid a late cancellation fee, clients may designate a third party to fill the appointment time. A third party client will be responsible for payment, unless otherwise agreed; the original client is still responsible for the reservation and will be charged if the third party does not appear.
If I need to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice to the client, a credit of $20/hour will be applied towards their next session.
Insurance and Payment policies
In order to keep my rates reasonable, I am not billing insurance for services at this time. I will gladly supply receipt copies if clients wish to submit them to insurance providers for reimbursment. Payment is due in full at the time of service (unless the appointment is part of a pre-paid treatment package). Cash, and Visa or Mastercards are accepted. No checks.
