Amber Way Massage & Bodywork

 About Me

Hello! My name is Amber. I am a Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP) in Seattle, WA, where I graduated from the Cortiva Institute with 1000 hours of training.

I came to learn massage after too many years working in an office, at a desk, with a computer... yeah, you get the idea.

My passion has long been in the arts: physical theater performance, film & photography, and now the art of healing. I am first and foremost an actor, and love bringing a creative mind to all my work. I also keep my hands busy with small craft projects at home.

Prior to attending massage school, I graduated from The Evergreen State College with a BA in Humanities. It was on campus that I first began practicing Yoga, and developed an interest in posture and movement. Yoga has also played an important role in my healing from painful injuries, and I am happy to be able to draw on this experience in my massage practice.

When I am not working or performing, I enjoy hiking, movies, time with friends & family, and cupcakes. I also take time to volunteer as a teaching assistant for theatrical movement classes, and to help other massage students.
